ABOUT

Richard Wilson, DNAP, CRNA, FAANA is a nurse anesthetist, educator, and national speaker dedicated to advancing nurse anesthesia education and supporting the educators who train the next generation of CRNAs. Throughout his career, he has served in multiple educational roles including clinical preceptor, clinical coordinator, and assistant program director, giving him a broad perspective on both classroom and clinical training.

 

Dr. Wilson is actively involved in professional service at both the state and national level. He has contributed to his state association by chairing committees and serving on the Board of Trustees, and nationally he has served as a Social Media Ambassador, member of the Leadership Identification Committee, and most recently was elected to serve on the Education Committee for the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA).

 

Through teaching, leadership, and national presentations, Dr. Wilson is passionate about strengthening nurse anesthesia education, mentoring future providers, and building communities that support educators across didactic and clinical environments.
